Issue/Introduction

After configuring the vSAN compute cluster, the alarm "All hosts have a dedicated vSAN Storage Cluster Client Network interface configured in server cluster" occurred.

Environment

VMware vSAN 8.x

Cause

VMKernel adapter for vSAN network is not configured.

vSAN compute cluster does not require storage devices, but vSAN network must be configured.

Resolution

Create a VMKernel adapter for vSAN.
