Unable to repair the replicator with the error "Operation canceled due to an unexpected error"

Issue/Introduction

After replacing certificates, unable to repair the replicator for a site.

• Error in the manager.log shows "com.vmware.h4.api.error.exceptions.GenericServerException: Operation aborted due to an unexpected error"
• In the replicator.log, we see "Expected thumbprint" with a correct manager certificate thumbprint followed by a "Actual certificate" with a certificate for the manager on the paired site
• Also in the replicator.log, exception is generated "com.vmware.exception.CertificateMismatchException: Certificate seen on the network differs from the certificate we expected"

Cloud Director Availability 4.7.3

Cause

Certificate was change on the manager for the paired site, but the replicator was not updated to reflect this

Resolution

Check the manager certificates in the replicator. If both the tunnel and the local site are the same, check which is correct based on the certificates. Remove and repair the incorrect one
