VMware Live Site Recovery shows not Accessible from vCenter

Issue/Introduction

When accessing the Site Recovery Plug-in from vCenter, the following error is displayed:

Environment

VMware Live Site Recovery Manager 9.x

VMware vSphere Replication 9.x

Cause

Certificate in the SRM VAMI is assigned to shortname or IP address instead of FQDN. 
This issue can also occur if VC and SRM appliance cannot resolve their hostname. 

Resolution

Ensure that the hostname and certificate for the SRM appliance is using FQDN and not a shortname.
