Error "FailedToCreateNamespace timed out after 600 seconds" while creating a second namespace in existing project

Issue/Introduction

Unable to create a second namespace in existing project with a shared VPC. 

Config status for the namaespace on the vCenter server is stuck at " Configuring " and and errored with the status message " Failed to create new Resource Pool under identifier ' resgroup-xx ".This operation will be retried " .  

 

The  " /var/log/services-logs/prelude/ccs-infra-eas-app/file-logs/ccs-infra-eas-app.log " has the following snippsts : -

Environment

VCF Automation 9.0.1 

Cause

The VM class is not available or not configured with the second Namespace. 

Resolution

Make sure that the VM class is available and the same is configured with the second Namespace to be created.

 

 

Additional Information

Feedback received towards  improving clear and accurate error logging in this case the Namespace creation was failing due to no availability of the VM class.
