Unable to change Zerto replication storage policy for VM on vVOL

Issue/Introduction

When changing the storage policy for any VM on vVOL using Zerto replication storage policy, we see the error "Datastore doesn't match current VM policy: General error occurred. Storage policy hasn't changed no change in storage consumption"

Environment

VMware vCenter 8.x

Cause

Storage Profile service unable to get  backend storage feature as required to be a replicated device.

Resolution

Reboot vcenter to re-established connection to Vasa Provider 

Alternatively, please engage with storage storage to investigate further.
