Issue/Introduction
Following KB How to Enable Okta for vCenter Server section "Create the SCIM 2.0 Application and Push Users and Groups to vCenter Server" gives an error on step 2.
Environment
vCenter Server 8 U1 or later
Cause
vCenter is not publicly available and there is no network tunnel between vCenter server and Okta server.
Resolution
Create a network tunnel between vCenter server and Okta server.
