Issue/Introduction

The customer restored an SSDb database on a secondary SpectroSERVER due to a failure. Afterward, the following message is displayed in the $SPECROOT/SS/VNM.OUT file:

Dec 04 11:45:15 WARNING: Two servers on server05 port 0xbeef and server03

    port 0xbeef have the same service Landscape 0x4000000 Service Type "Landscape Default" and precedence 10.

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum: Any release

Cause

Restored the SSdb from a wrong primary SpectroSERVER in a DSS (Distributed SpectroSERVER) environment.

Resolution

After restoring the SSdb from the correct primary SpectroSERVER the issue was resolved.
