Issue/Introduction

• Platform and Collector VM reboot after sending Ctrl + Alt + Del through Remote Console or Web Console by vSphere Web Client.
• When Ctrl + Alt + Del is sent, syslog writes following message to syslog.
  /var/log/syslog
<TIMESTAMP> localhost systemd[1]: Received SIGINT.

Environment

VMware Aria Operations for Networks 6.14

Cause

This is expected behavior. 
Ubuntu OS accepts Ctrl + Alt + Del shortcut to reboot when a console user cannot login.
Since VMware Aria Operations for Networks VMs are Ubuntu-based appliances, they inherits the behavior.

Resolution

Currently, there is no resolution.
