Issue/Introduction

We are unable to exclude or filter out specific partitions when configuring a custom collection within a Monitoring Profile in DX NetOps Performance Management.

For example, we would like to filter out /tmp/ for all devices within this custom collection.

Resolution

The default monitoring profile, "Physical Server", is applied to the "All Server" collection. This profile has higher precedence and is overriding (superseding) the custom monitoring profile you created for partition filtering. Remove the "Physical Server" monitoring profile from the "All Server" collection.

Once the default profile is removed, your custom monitoring profile should take effect, allowing you to successfully filter out the desired partitions.
