Unable to create Workload Domain using system managed credential

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to create a Workload Domain (WLD), if you select the option to use system managed credentials, the operation fails and the following error message is displayed:

vCenter adapter: Can't create system managed credential

Environment

VCF Operations 9.0

VCF Operations 9.0.1

Cause

The VCF Operations adapter fails to receive the required CA certificates during Service Account creation because certificates imported via the Control Panel are not being propagated to the adapter instance. This results in SSL handshake errors and subsequent task failure.

Resolution

This issue is tentatively planned to be fixed in VCF Operations 9.0.2. Continue to monitor this article for updates.
