There are times when you need to create a new project in CA Harvest SCM using all same the states, processes and access settings you already have in an existing project. Rather than rebuild all that detail from the beginning, there is an easy way to just copy the lifecycle settings of an existing project to create a new one.
Harvest Software Change Manager all versions
Step 1: Create a new Lifecycle Template from the original project by copying it to the Lifecycle Template section.
Step 2: Copy the new lifecycle template back to the Active Projects section under the new project name.
Step 3: Create a new repository for the new project.
Step 4: Add the new repository to the baseline for the new project.
All steps are now complete and the new project is ready for use.
