APMIA Rabbitmq is not reporting all metrics

Issue/Introduction

APMIA Rabbitmq extension is not reporting all metrics for a specific rabbitmq cluster.

Same agent version reports "unroutable" messages in other clusters but fails to report for one cluster.

The agent log is showing:

[WARN] [IntroscopeAgent.RESTMon] [Restmon Schedular - 1 RESTmon] Skipping the schedule for : RabbitMqACB~~rabbitmq ::Increase the interval Or Reduce the number of profile to be monitor

 

Resolution

agent is skipping some of the profile schedule.

We suggest to increase the polling interval in bundle.properties to 600 Seconds

introscope.agent.rabbitmq.profiles.default.interval=600

If the agent is deployed as a k8s or open shift POD, then you need to adjust the value of this env variable.

        - name: APMENV_INTROSCOPE_AGENT_RABBITMQ_PROFILES_DEFAULT_INTERVAL
          value: "15"
          
          
This is the YAML env variable that you need to adjust to 600 instead of 15.          

Helm deployment may be showing this property little differently.
