Pairing between the on-premises VMware Cloud Director Availability Manager and the cloud VMware Cloud Director Availability Manager could not be established and failed with below error :
The Manager Service'f1#####################################' was not found.
/opt/vmware/h4/logs/replicator.log indicated:
com.vmware.h4.cloud.api.exceptions.DuplicateOnpremTunnelCertificateException: An on-premise site that uses the same on-premise tunnel certificate is already paired. at jdk.internal.reflect.GeneratedConstructorAccessor157.newInstance(Unknown Source) at java.base/jdk.internal.reflect.DelegatingConstructorAccessorImpl.newInstance(DelegatingConstructorAccessorImpl.java:45)
This indicates that the pairing workflow was rejected by the cloud site due to certificate conflicts.
VMware Cloud Director Availability 4.x
The issue occurred because the on-premises VCDA instance was using a duplicate on-premise tunnel certificate that had already been registered previously.
