Modifying / Configuring timezone for the vCenter via vCenter Appliance Management (VAMI)

Issue/Introduction

This article gives the process to configure or change the timezone of the vCenter via VAMI page.

 

Environment

VMware vSphere 7.x

VMware vSphere 8.x

Resolution

1. Log in to the vCenter Server Management Interface as root.

2. In the vCenter Server Management Interface, click Time.

3. Configure the system time zone settings.

a. In the Time zone pane, click Edit.
b. From the Time zone drop-down menu, select a location or time zone and click Save.
