RDS Serverless assets, and Perspective Support

Issue/Introduction

Within CloudHealth RDS Serverless assets are currently mapped through to the RDS-Compute category as of May 2025. 

Due to this change in mapping, RDS Serverless asset can't currently be addressed directly by Perspectives as they lack Perspective support.

Resolution

CloudHealth are currently targeting a release window of Q1 of 2026 for adding Perspective support for RDS Aurora Serverless assets, and we will update this KB if the release window changes.

Once this change goes live Perspectives will pick up RDS Aurora Serverless assets where rules exist within a Perspective that would capture these assets, e.g AWS Taggable Only object rules, and RDS Instance object rules.
