Issue/Introduction

We recently installed the CA7 Web Client. Our CA7ONL restarts every day at 5 a.m.

• Do we also need to stop CA7SRVR, XFFB, and the Web Client (AL2QWEBC)?

Here is the current CA7 startup sequence:

  1. CA Datacom/AD MUF
  2. CA7ICOM
  3. CA7ONL
  4. CA7QSRVR
  5. CA7QXVFB (Xvfb server)
  6. CA7QWEBC (CA7 Web Client)

Environment

Workload Automation CA/7 R12.1(Web Client)

Resolution

It is not required to stop CA7SRVR, XFFB, and the Web Client (AL2QWEBC) after a CA7ONL restart. They will automatically reconnect to CA7ONL, when it becomes active again.
