Issue/Introduction

  • You are trying to add a custom component via the below Type Catalog API on our Data Aggregator server:

     http://<DA_IP>:<DA_Port>/typecatalog/components

  • When submitting the payload, the server responds with an HTTP 500 error. Server Response:

Environment

All supported releases of Performance Management

Resolution

  • Restarting DA services should resolve this issue. 

  • Raise a case with the Broadcom support if restarting the DA services does not resolve this issue.
