Issue/Introduction

Some tasks initiated by a user in the vSphere Client do not start.

Cause

This might be caused by using incompatible operating systems, outdated browser versions, or the browser cache.

Resolution

1. When incompatible operating systems or browser versions are used for the vSphere Client, update them and check if the issue is resolved.

To check the software requirements, see
(vSphere 8.0) vSphere Client Software Requirements
(vSphere 9.0) vSphere Client Software Requirements

2. When you are using a compatible operating system and browser, check if clearing the browser cache fixes the issue.

3. When clearing the cache does not resolve the issue, contact Broadcom VCF support.
