Issue/Introduction

Do CA 2E tools on IBM i support Password Level 4 settings on the OS? Please let us know as we are in progress of planning and moving to the password level 4 from level 2.

version 8.7 and higher

Resolution

Changing the IBM i OS password level from 2 to 4 does not impact CA 2E tools.

In fact, changing password level from any level to any other level does not impact CA 2E tools.
