Issue/Introduction

What does the following error indicate?

Error loading critical log file : java.io.FileNotFoundException: critical.log (Permission denied)

 

 

 

Environment

Workload Automation Agent 12.0 or above

ESP dSeries (Workload Automation DE): Any

Cause

Job is not able to write to log / spool directory.

Resolution

The SFTP / SCP job will run as an external process when a "run as" user is defined in the job.  The run as user will need write permissions to agent log and spool directory.
