Issue/Introduction

  • Attempting to power on the vIDM environment in Lifecycle Manager fails with the code; LCMVIDM73101
  • The vIDM UI is accessible using the local admin account.
  • ACS Health - Application Deployment Status shows the error below on one of the nodes. 
    • Web Application Status: Error when connecting to the application.

Environment

VMware Identity Manager 3.3.7 

Aria Lifecycle Manager 8.18 

Resolution

Gracefully power off the vIDM environment in the Lifecycle Manager UI.

  • Navigate to Lifecycle Operations -> Environments
  • Click 'View Details' for the vIDM environment, named 'globalenvironment' by default.
  • Click the three dots icon and select 'Power OFF' and after, when complete, 'Power ON'.
