Issue/Introduction

Virtual machines cannot power on or migrate in a VxRail environment in follow scenario:

• A VIB was installed or removed on the ESX host
• The ESXi host has not been rebooted.

Environment

VMware ESXi8.0

Cause

An issue in the ESXi ConfigStore framework might cause the host to enter into an inconsistent state.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in the VMware ESXi 8.0 Update 3e (Build 24674464)
