Error when connecting to TDM service from ARD Studio

Issue/Introduction

With ARD client version 3.6 can't connect to TDM 4.11 facing the below error message

"Could not log into the specified TDM service with the specified username and password."

Environment

TDM 4.11.x and ARD 3.6.x

Cause

From the AgileResigner log we can see below error that tells TDM Portal certificate is expired.

2025-11-25 14:05:32,144 ERROR [default] [E:\Jenkins\workspace\RD_Studio_ARDDesktop_release_3.6\AgileDesigner\RESTServiceHelper.cpp:733] [TDM REST Service Log]Qt Network Error (Qt error code: 6) SSL handshake failed: The certificate has expired.

Check the complete chain of TDM Portal certificates and identify the expired certificate.

Resolution

Replace the expired certificate with a valid on TDM side followed by TDM Service restart and test the connection again from ARD Studio. It would resolve the issue.
