Issue/Introduction

You want to filter out some Meraki networks on VNA from the sync with Spectrum and Performance Center, so you have added them to the filter in the plugin.

However, as the initial full sync was already done, the initial devices present in these networks were already synced to VNA and also to PM & Spectrum

My questions:

1. the filter is between the Meraki console and VNA and it prevents adding devices to the VNA database? Is that correct

2. How can I remove the devices from these filtered out networks from the VNA Database? As removing them from PM/Spectrum won't work as they get synced back into the tools.

Environment

DX NetOps VNA installed with Meraki Plugin.
Integrated with DX Netops Spectrum and Performance Center

Cause

The blacklist filter does remove items from the VNA database.  There are three Meraki plugins running and the filter was created on the wrong engine id.

Resolution

Copy the filter over to the correct plugin and the devices are now deleted and the removal synched to Spectrum and Performance Center.
