You need to access the VMware Cloud Console to download the upgrade bundle when upgrading the on-premises HCX Manager in an environment using HCX in a VMC environment.

This KB describes how to verify that the hash value of the downloaded upgrade bundle is correct.

Resolution

The upgrade bundle downloaded from the VMware Cloud Console is the same file as the upgrade bundle available for download from the Broadcom Support Portal.
Compare the hash value with the value listed on each download page.
If the hash value of the downloaded file differs, the file may be corrupted.
