NSX-T Global Manager and Local Manager show error "Location X is not reachable, Networking entities needs to be reviewed"

Issue/Introduction

• On the Global Manager under Configuration -> Location Manager, a red banner is displayed "Location X is not reachable, Networking entities needs to be reviewed"
• On the Local Manager under Configuration -> Location, a red banner is displayed "Lost communication to X"
• The environment is functioning as normal with no known issues.

VMware NSX

Cause

This User Interface error may be a false positive. 

Resolution

This is a condition that may occur in a VMware NSX environment.

 

Workaround:
To workaround this issue and clear the error banner, a rolling restart of the Local Manager and Global Manager nodes is required.
