Issue/Introduction

You have configured iSCSi on Host by completing these tasks:

 

You noticed that the LUN you assigned is not showing up in ESX.

In the vSphere Client ---> Host --> Configure --> Storage Adapters --> Devices and Paths are empty

Example:

Environment

ESXi 8.x
ESX 8.x

Cause

You have not configured a VMKernel Port dedicated for iSCSI and/or have not assigned it to the Storage Adapter. As a result "Network Port Binding" is empty.
