• vCenter 8.0 installation, and to check if it's possible to add ESXi hosts version 6.0 to vCenter 8.0

• Want to add ESXi hosts running version 6 to the VMware inventory for vCenter 8.0.

Cause

vCenter does not support hosts of this type (VMware ESXi 6.0.0).

Resolution

vCenter 8.0 is compatible with versions: 6.7.x, 7.x, and 8.0
