The GIM32501E indicates that the customers version of the fix that they were attempting to apply was missing the PRODXML statement. We therefore determined that they had either a corrupted or incomplete fix since our copy of the fix has that statement.
The solution was to download the fix once more from our website and verify that the last line looked like: ++ASSIGN SOURCEID(CAP2506) TO(LU17087) .
Once he did the REJECT of the incorrect copy of the fix from his GLOBAL zone, he was then able to RECEIVE the new copy of the fix to his GLOBAL zone and the APPLY completed successfully.
