Issue/Introduction

When using ARD Client version 3.6.0.19 to connecting to ARD HUB 3.5.x we get the following error(warning):

Connecting to older version of ARD Hub is unsupported scenario. Do you want to continue?

 

When clicking Ok to continue, The ARD 3.6 Studio seems to connect without issue. However, this warning message concerns us with regard to whether the client 3.6.x is in support with ARD HUB 3.5.x

Resolution

Looking at the ARD 3.6 documentation - Verify ARD Installation Prerequisites, we clearly advise if upgrading to ARD 3.6, you should upgrade the ARD Hub first. ARD Hub 3.6 is backward compatible to ARD Studio 3.5, 3.4, and 3.3 desktop clients. However, the ARD 3.6 Studio client is only compatible with ARD 3.6 Hub.  

You should upgrade your ARD Hub to version 3.6.
