APUAT pre assestment tool stuck before upgrade of Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

• The APUAT tool has become stuck during installation.
• It remains in this state for a number of hours.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Resolution

Take snapshots of the Aria Operations instance as per the below procedure.

• Snapshot Creation in VMware Aria Operations

Proceed with the upgrade to target version. If the upgrade encounters issues, generate a support bundle and share it with Broadcom support for analysis.

The logs in this bundle will contain more detailed information regarding any upgrade failure.
