Displaying existing replications in the Live Recovery Console fails with an error

Issue/Introduction

After deploying a new instance of VLR display of the new replication in the vsphere replication appliance fails with the following error

Cannot invoke "java.lang.Boolean.booleanValue()" because the return value of "com.vmware.vim.binding.hms.ReplicationTabularInfo.getManagedMpit()" is null

Environment

VLR 9.0.4

VR Appliance 9.0.2

Cause

This is caused during deployment when you have an existing VR appliance.

If you choose not to converge you will be left with the old VR appliance running on 9.0.2 .

VMware Live Site Recovery, vSphere Replication, and vSAN Data Protection — are combined into a single VMware Live Recovery appliance.
