Issue/Introduction

Symptoms

When attempting to collect a log bundle by right-clicking an object in the vSphere Client, the Export Diagnostic Data option did not appear.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 8.0.x

Cause

The GUI display depends on the version.

Resolution

Please look for the option labeled Export System Logs instead of Export Diagnostic Data.
