Workflow failed with error failed to find VM named xxx (Workflow:xxx / get vm (item1)#18)

Issue/Introduction

Workflows that leverage the vSphere vRO workflows can fail when calling the "get vm" workflow if there is no vCenter endpoint or if there is an issue with the endpoint in the vRO inventory. The error that can be seen is related to not finding the VM when it is searched for:

failed to find VM named xxx (Workflow:xxx / get vm (item1)#18)
