Issue/Introduction

Signing in to VMware Aria Operations for Logs with Workspace ONE Access changes the URL from the FQDN to an IP address. This causes a certificate warning since the certificate for Aria Operations for Logs is based on the FQDN and not IP address. 

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.x

Cause

The Redirect URL Host for the Workspace ONE Access configuration is not set to FQDN in Aria Operations for Logs.

Resolution

Log into the Aria Operations for Logs UI with the admin account and perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Configuration > Authentication.
  2. Select Workspace ONE Access and click the Edit icon. 
  3. Select the desired FQDN from the Redirect URL Host drop-down menu.
