++ Under the vSAN Services section, the Performance Service is disabled and enable option was unavailable.

Environment

Resolution

Enable vSAN Performance Service using RVC via vCenter Appliance:

Follow KB How to use vSAN RVC to log in to the RVC console in vCenter and navigate to the problematic cluster.

1. Run the below command to check the status of the .vsan.stats object

vsan.perf.stats_object_info

2. If the command returns Unknown for the object enable vSAN Performance Service with the below command

vsan.perf.cluster_object_create

After executing the above commands:
 • The .vsan.stats folder will be successfully created on the vSAN datastore.
 • vSAN Performance Service will be enabled on the cluster.

Performance Service now shows as enabled in vCenter

++ The Warning in vSAN Health Service will be cleared
