DEVTEST 10.8.3.1 - Observing CPU spikes on VSE servers as a result of Qualys scan and it requires VSE restart to bring back CPU

Issue/Introduction

DevTest VSEs deployed on VM environment. There is Qualys scan scheduled every week on Monday evening time on all VSE hosts.

We are observing CPU spikes during Qualys scan and CPU stays at high level until VSE service gets restarted. 

Environment

DevTest 10.8.3.x 

Cause

A memory leak has been identified on VSE and  we have a fix for this

Resolution

Open a Support ticket and request for patch_DE645685_10.8.3_GA.jar

This patch will make sure that the VSE memory remains stable

Additional Information

Steps to Apply the Patch on VSE Server(s)

• Stop VSE Service
• Place the patch file "patch_DE645685_10.8.3_GA.jar" at LISA_HOME/lib/patches folder
• Start VSE Service
