Issue/Introduction

  • A 'heartbeat.action - 500 Internal Server Error' appears in the Network browser logs when attempting to access the plugin in VCD.

  • The browser console.log shows “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.3

Cause

This issue occurs when Aria Operations Certificate's Subject Alternative Name doesn't match with the Aria Operations FQDN.

Resolution

  • Check Aria Operations certificate SAN details and confirm that the right FQDN details are added.

Note: The certificate will be valid for any FQDN/IP that is added to subjectAltName section. It is advised to include the IP addresses and FQDN's for each node in the cluster.

  • And trust the configured Aria Operations certificate in VMware Cloud Director by importing it.
