Issue/Introduction

When setting up a Conditional Required Modal Rule we find that the modal does not work to pick the target attribute change we’re requesting on Project Properties (will keep same date and not update with the new one). Project Grid works as expected

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

<These steps are for a custom String field but you can also use Description String field or Goal lookup>

  1. Connect to Clarity - Objects – Project
  2. Create a new String field called ReasonChange, add API Alias
  3. Go to MUX – Administration – Blueprints
  4. Copy the Standard Project Blueprint
  5. Edit the new Copy – Rules
  6. Create New Rule - Conditional Required Modal
  7. Target Attribute - Finish
  8. Value Changes
  9. In Conditional Required Modal drag ReasonChange attribute to the modal
  10. Click Create
  11. Now publish the Blueprint
  12. Go to Project Grid – Add Blueprint Column – select 1 of the projects to use that blueprint
  13. Now edit the Finish date in the Grid
  14. Note it pops up the Conditional Modal and you are able to save the date you were setting up
  15. Now clear the ReasonChange field
  16. Now open the same project and go to Properties page and try updating the Finish date there

Expected Results:  The Conditional Required Modal to appear and the exact date you’re picking to be selected for change

Actual Results:

  • The Conditional Required Modal opens with the same Finish date that’s already set, unchanged and greyed out
  • If you enter ReasonChange and save, it does not save
