Seeing vSAN file serivces alerts in vCenter after upgrade

Issue/Introduction

Error seeing in vCenter UI, "Cannot complete the operation.  See the event log for details.  Failed to remediate vSAN file service: Failed to remediate file service on hosts <Hostname/s>."

Environment

ESXi 8.0

vCenter 8.0

Cause

It seems that vSAN File Services was enabled during the upgrade.

Resolution

Disable the vSAN file service.

Navigate to the cluster in the vSphere client, go to the Configure tab > vSAN > Services > vSAN File Service > Edit > Disable
