Issue/Introduction

• Enhancement Description: APM alert throttling 
• Environment (If Applicable): SaaS.
• Business Impact: Teams receives multiple alerts if a cluster is down
• Use Cases: We have a monitor of Kafka cluster. When a Kafka queue is having issues it will appear in all Kafka cluster nodes. Hence team will receive calls for each node. We'd like to have a capability if we can throttle the alert for an example a alert setup can send 1 alert in 10 minutes. Or may be more control.
• Expected Delivery Timeframe: No timeframe

Resolution

- No rate limiting is available today. So an ER is needed and addressed in another case,
- Broadcom will work with customer on what can be done short term. (Custom situations) This will solve only part of the issue and not the edge cases.
