Issue/Introduction

• Creating service mesh through UI failed with errors "Overridden network has invalid tags"

Environment

HCX

Cause

• At the time of service mesh creation, there is validation that network profile which is selected for uplink and it should have only uplink as tag.
• However, if multiple tags are selected i.e. "management", "replication", "uplink". the UI sends uplink as well as other tags.

Resolution

• Edit the Network Profile and re-select the appropriate network traffic type.
• Try to re-deploy the Service Mesh
