Pinniped 0.41 compatibility on vCenter server 8.0

Issue/Introduction

This article provides early information regarding the planned availability of Pinniped version 0.41 in the vCenter Server release that follows 8.0 Update 3g.

This update will introduce improvements to authentication and identity workflows used by VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS).

Resolution

Broadcom engineering is currently working to include Pinniped version 0.41 in a future release of vCenter Server. Customers utilizing vCenter Server 8.0 Update 3g will maintain their current bundled Pinniped version until they complete an upgrade.
