Issue/Introduction

• The HCX OS Assisted Migration (OSAM) has stalled during the initial base synchronization phase and is not progressing.
  
  The percentage value used in this example is not definitive. User can experience this issue at any point during the base sync.
  
  
  
  
• The status check of the Linux Sentinel service, using 'systemctl status vmware-hcx-osam-sentinel', indicates that the service is currently active (running).

Environment

VMware HCX
RHEL 8.0

Resolution

Restart Linux sentinel service using below command on Source VM.
systemctl restart vmware-hcx-osam-sentinel
