Domain is not responding/updating

Issue/Introduction

When the domain start up and the failover and the CPU utilization becomes exceptionally high and stays there over tim and domains are not updating.

Cause

The Impact Propogation for a Root cause was taking around 25 mins with the repository and the CPU was almost 100% during this time. With the fix the Impact propoagtion took very less time, around 15-20 seconds to complete and also the CPU was not high during this time.

Below was the command used to verify the Impact Propgation:

./sm_adapter -s <domain name> -Dclass=Router -Dinst=<device name> -Dprob=Down  /tmp/getExplains.asl

Resolution

A computation that was using Neighbor relationship for Impact propagation of UCS::Down was taking high CPU. This computation was found to be unnecessary and so removed it in the computation of Impacts for UCS::Down problem.

This is addressed Network Observability version 25.4.2
