When attempting to run Repair Host Boot Disk in Nutanix error shows "Ungraceful breakfix is not supported at least one port with backing from NSX"

Issue/Introduction

• When running Nutanix on ESXi and attempting to run Repair Host Boot Disk within Nutanix, you receive the follow error:

Ungraceful breakfix is not supported when cluster has at least one port with backing from NSX

 

Environment

VMware ESXi

Resolution

• Confirm NSX VIBs are present on the ESXi host with the following command on the host

esxcli software vib list | grep -i nsx

• If there is no output, this would confirm there are no NSX VIBs installed on the ESXi host

 

• If there are no NSX VIBs shown, contact Nutanix support for further assistance

 

• If there are NSX VIBs shown on the ESXi output, refer to Nutanix Knowledge Base article for further steps to address issue further
