Issue/Introduction

This article provides instructions for adding the "Performed On" search field to the "View Submitted Tasks" and "View My Submitted Tasks" screens. This configuration enables administrators to filter tasks based on the subject (user, role, or group) and review the complete history of changes for specific objects.

Environment

Identity Manager 14.5 & 15

Cause

The "Performed On" search field is not visible in the default "View Submitted Tasks" configuration. It must be explicitly enabled and mapped to a search screen via the Admin Task editor.

Resolution

  1. Log in to the Identity Manager User Console as a System Manager.
  2. Navigate to Roles and Tasks > Modify Admin Task.
  3. Search for and select the View Submitted Tasks task.
  4. Select the Tabs tab, then click the Edit (pencil icon) next to the Submitted Tasks tab.
  5. In the "Configure Submitted Task Screen," locate the Configure Performed on parameter at the bottom of the page.

  6. From the drop-down list, select the object type you wish to search (e.g., Users).
  7. Click Browse next to the user search screen selection and choose Default user search.
  8. Submit the task to save the changes.
  9. Navigate to System > View Submitted Tasks. The new "Performed On" search field will now be visible.
    • Note: These steps also apply to the View My Submitted Tasks task.
