Inbound messages are failing with the error "sender aborted connection". When checking DDS logs, you see:
Attempt to authenticate to data source failed
This indicates that SMG is unable to authenticate with Active Directory. When authentication fails, message processing stops, causing inbound connections to abort.
You need to ensure SMG can successfully authenticate to Active Directory.
Go to
Administration > Settings > Directory Integration
Test the connection to your directory source.
Update credentials, network access, or LDAP/LDAPS settings as needed until the test succeeds.
