• Alarm for Metrics Delivery Failure is seen in NSX UI for Edge Transport Node(s)
  
• The NSX Application Platform deployment being referenced in the alarm no longer exists

Environment

VMware NSX

Cause

SHA agent running with stale NSX Application Platform deployment

Resolution

Restart SHA Agent

• On NSX Manager / Edge:
  • admin - service nsx-sha restart
  • root - /etc/init.d/nsx-sha restart
