Method to generate snapshot service appliance logs for review.

Environment

VMware vSAN 8.x

Resolution

SSH to the Snapshot service appliance and run the command.

# vm-support

 

 

 

Logs are available in this location  /storage/log/snapservice

Please verify the following exist

 

/var/log/vmware/snapservice/snap-service.log

/var/log/vmware/snapservice/snap-service-panic.log
